NEW YEARS EVE AT THE WHITE HOUSE

Hi, I have made the Terri Lee and Jerri Lee a formal and a tuxedo for their trip to the White House for New Years Eve. The dress was made from a green satin and a white sheer organza with sparkle snowflakes all over. Her mink stole is made from a real silver mink coat. Jerri Lees tuxedo is made from my Father-in-Laws real tux. The tux pants have the satin stripe down the side of the legs.
I didn't want them to be in the morning news so I had my very talented daughter make them their invitation. The lady who bought these outfits was so thrilled that she took them to work to show them off. You need to check out my daughters blog, gobeagirl.blogspot.com, She makes some beautiful cards.

"TRICK OR TREAT"

Can you believe it is almost October. Where did the summer go. Oh well time to turn our thoughts to Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is another little dress I created for the doll so she can have a cute dress to wear to the school Halloween Party. I think she looks so cute in her puffy dress and her knee highs and shoes. I am going to put some more of my dresses on my ebay store "My Dollies 3" in the next few days. So check them out. I have talented daughters too......the pumkin was down in plastic canvas by my oldest. My other daughter does scrapbooking. Her blog is gobeagirl.blogspot.com.

SUMMER NIGHTS

Hi, I have been so busy doing my special orders that I haven't had the 5 minutes to update my site. This is a little outfit I designed for the Terri Lee Doll. It is made from a pale green embroidered organdy. The skirt is a 3/4 length and lined in a white nylon tricote. She has on her long pantaloons with lace. I even made her a parisol to go with her dress. I think she looks just like a little Southern Belle.

I repair dolls and either re-wig them or re-root their hair. Clean the dolls and refresh their make-up. This is a Madame Alexander Doll called "Marabell, The doll that get well". I just washed her hair and reset it back in the original style, touched up her rosie cheeks. Her body was in bad shape so it was repaired and repainted. She has already left for her new home. (My daughter keeps telling to me to take before pictures......but I forgot.)

Hi, I just put this cute little dress on sale. I just love sewing for this doll. In the next few weeks I hope to start sewing some new school clothes for her. I also am going to start doing some of my special Holiday dresses. I have a pilgrim set I do for her and her brother for the Thanksgiving time. I am going to try to make them some Indian costumes to go with the pilgrim set.
